    　這些自動車使用電池，不會造成空氣汙染，透過智慧型手機，隨叫隨到，使用完畢，自動歸位，還可以折疊起來，節省大量停車空間，有了這套自動化「小黃車隊」，年輕人再也不必為買車而煩惱。
    　在住宅方面，最新發明的多功能魔法屋，可以使窄小空間發揮兩倍大的使用效果；在糧食供應方面，未來的智慧型大樓裡有空中花園，培養無土種植的蔬果，可以在很短的時間內提供都市住民所需的食物。
    　以上所提及，從交通、住宅到糧食安全方面的革命，其實不遠了，目前正由美國麻省理工學院媒體實驗室（Media Lab）著手開發，包括自動駕駛的未來車、多功能魔法屋、室內無土種植，預料將帶動交通、住宅和糧食的「共享經濟」革命，可望在2020年實現理想的未來城市。
    　未來城市 舒適有效率
    　MIT媒體實驗室城市科學計畫共同主持人蘭森（Kent Larson）指出，「目前在中國、印度有許多大城市，人口密度非常高，空氣汙染、交通堵塞嚴重，很糟糕。」
    　10年後的未來城市是什麼光景？蘭森指出，「未來理想城市可能是多元、多樣化的發展，保存過去歷史的記憶，又具有創新能力，由創新科技提供整合服務，是一個適合人居住，舒適而有效率的生活環境。」
    　在規畫未來城市時，研究人員首先參考現存的古老城市，去蕪存菁。蘭森舉巴黎為例，儘管人口密度很高，但有許多小社區，到處是咖啡館、餐廳、音樂廳和博物館，人們步行20分鐘內可以滿足各種基本的生活需求，這是他心中的理想城市。
    　未來車 節能人性化
    　走進MIT媒體實驗室（Media Lab）嶄新的大樓，這是由普立茲克獎得主、日本建築師槙文彥所設計。一樓大廳裡擺設一系列未來車的模型，從可折疊的二輪電動車（Robo Scooter）、模組化電動輪（Green Wheel）、可自動駕駛的三輪車（PEV）到自動駕駛且可折疊的汽車（CityCar），這些酷炫未來車從人性化、節能環保與「共享經濟」等理念出發，經過不斷的測試，即將進行量產，可望掀起新的汽車革命。
    　美國夢已經碎了，未來的城市是一個共享經濟的社會。蘭森指出，所謂「共享經濟」，指的是租賃取代擁有，由於網路與智慧型手機的普及，消費者可以從網路上獲取各種資訊，從訂旅館、餐廳到車子、房子，還可查詢出租者與產品的歷史記錄，同時在線上付款。
    　「媒體實驗室關心的是人，一切從人開始。」研究人員不斷思索，「未來理想城市該有什麼樣的車？未來車一定要有方向盤嗎？」未來城市車的研究小組中，只有一人受過汽車設計訓練，其他人的背景分屬建築、都市設計、系統工程、企管等不同領域，最後他們設計出一部沒有方向盤的折疊電動車，體型袖珍，傳統車位一次可停3輛，目前西班牙的汽車廠已決定量產。
    　最新研發的未來車（PEV）是一輛有罩子的電動三輪車，就像捷運站附近的自行車系統，提供最後一哩的功能，可以隨時租用，自動開到目的地，並且自動歸位，還可折疊，適合年輕人運動與通勤之用，也適合老人使用。
    　發明這輛酷炫三輪車是來自台灣的林家樑，他說，「這輛車有透明罩子，不怕刮風下雨，使用電池很環保，時速可達40公里，目前已有台灣廠商打算生產，未來希望在台灣進行實地測試。」
    　未來公寓 科技換空間
    　許多大都會都面臨地價飆漲，年輕人買不起房子的難題。MIT媒體實驗室研發出多功能未來公寓，可依照使用者不同需求，將有限的空間變成兩倍大，例如，白天可以是舞蹈教室，下午變成會議室，晚上變成8至10人的宴會場所，深夜則轉變為臥房，有如科技魔法屋。
    　蘭森指出，「未來公寓主要透過科技來變換室內空間，使用者可以智慧型手機搖控室內的電動牆。」他表示，「紐約市長彭博與波士頓市長莫尼諾都非常支持這項計畫，曼哈頓已展開規畫建造一棟未來公寓，主要出租給年輕人，這也是一種共享經濟。」
    　未來糧食 無土種室內
    　未來的大都會將吸納全球90％的人口，創造80％的財富，消耗60％的能源，都市的糧安全是嚴肅的議題。MIT媒體實驗室發展出室內無土種植法（aeroponic farming），僅使用一般土耕種植用水的2％，可在室內培養出各種蔬果，不會產生蚊蟲，也沒有農藥汙染，目前已取得專利。
    　蘭森說，許多大樓裡都可以進行無土種植，每平方公尺無土種植的農產品可供一人食用，讓都市裡的人自給自足。從產業發展的角度，無土種植有龐大商機，發明這項種植法的學生已自行創業去了。
    　MIT媒體實驗室還有許多新奇的實驗，例如在室內設計收集陽光的反射裝置，可透過智慧型手機把陽光投射至指定的方位，增加室內照明，並且節省能源。
    　未來城市的規畫，希望保留大都會的優點，除去惱人的缺點。蘭森說，以上這些的發明，主要目的是讓都市更適合人居住，目前已在波士頓、阿姆斯特丹展開測試，也和中國的某些城市洽談合作案。
    　今年3月，蘭森曾來台灣拜訪行政院副院長毛治國，希望在台灣尋找合適的測試地點，把媒體實驗室的發明帶到台灣來。他說，「我們歡迎有創意、有前瞻性的市長提出合作案。」參與多項未來車計畫的林家樑說，「很希望自己的發明，有朝一日回饋自己的家鄉。」

    　MIT媒體實驗室成立於1985年，由知名建築系教授、「百元電腦」計畫發起人尼格洛龐帝（Nicholas Negroponte）與前MIT校長暨甘迺迪總統科顧問魏思納（Jerome Wiesner）共同創辦，附屬於MIT建築學院，為國際知名的跨領域實驗室，集合不同領域的人才，打破學門的界線，共同研究未來的科技、多媒體與設計，以改善人類的生活。
    　媒體實驗室有逾80個會員，主要是知名大企業包括Google、Panasonic、Toshiba、Shell、三星、LG、樂高等，該研究室每年3500萬美元經費主要來自企業贊助。
    　實驗室師生逾200人，正在進行26組研究，逾350項計畫，涵蓋範圍從城市科學、巨量資料、自閉症與溝通科技、公民媒體中心、數位學習中心到未來故事中心等。目前有6位台灣學生在此攻讀碩、博士並參與研究。

蔡英文「點亮台灣、民主夥伴」訪美之旅，於洛杉磯行程的亮點之一，為會見美國目前唯一台灣出生的聯邦眾議員劉雲平。兩人除了談台美經濟，還聊到NBA台裔球星林書豪。蔡英文在美西時間5月30日上午8時20分於洛杉磯下榻飯店，與民主黨議員劉雲平，及另一名華裔女性眾議員趙美心早餐會。

蔡英文「點亮台灣、民主夥伴」訪美之旅，於洛杉磯行程的亮點之一，為會見美國目前唯一台灣出生的聯邦眾議員劉雲平。兩人除了談台美經濟，還聊到NBA台裔球星林書豪。蔡英文在美西時間5月30日上午8時20分於洛杉磯下榻飯店，與民主黨議員劉雲平，及另一名華裔女性眾議員趙美心早餐會。

原是加州參議員的劉雲平，今年初成為繼吳振偉、趙美心、孟昭文之後，第4位亞裔眾議員，特別的是，他是首位出生於台灣的美國眾議員。之後兩人共同受訪。劉雲平表示，他是唯一台灣出生的美國國會議員，「非常榮幸我祖母還住在台南。」蔡英文則說，兩人談了一些台美議題，也觸及TPP、勞工等，對很多事情交換意見。劉表示，他對蔡的印象是，「講了一口帶著漂亮英國腔的英文；非常聰明，也極度親民。」蔡親自送劉雲平出飯店時，劉還特別對她講，「stay close（保持緊密關係）」；蔡則回應，「I hope see you next year.（希望明年能在台灣見）。」劉進一步講，「好，非常好。」蔡也與加州10多位國際關係學者交換意見。南加大美中學院院長杜克雷（Dr. Clayton Dube）談及會談情節時表示，「大部分人聽她的說法都覺得有道理。」，

    　許明財對此相當重視，上午舉行記者會，呼籲造謠者出面說明。新竹市警方依照網路使用者的IP，循線找到吳姓女網友涉有重嫌，請她到案說明。
    　警方表示，吳姓女網友是愛狗人士，她坦承聽聞市府要撲殺流浪狗，基於愛狗的心而在網路貼「2013血腥國慶在新竹」圖片，未料造成網友轉載分享，她只是想保護流浪狗。
    　警方訊後，晚間依違反社會秩序維護法將吳姓女網友函送新竹地檢署，並呼籲網友不要張貼不實傳聞，需實事求是。1020522
