國道一號暖暖交流道路口上周發生死亡車禍，肇因為車輛搶燈號。由於當地路口號誌複雜，車流量大，連動性不夠，導致交通事故頻繁，基隆市議員林明智等人昨日辦理會勘，未來增設雷達測速照相器材，希望減少事故發生。基隆市議員林明智、陳江山和連恩典，昨會同交通部公路總局、國道高速公路局和市府交通隊等單位在暖暖交流道紅綠燈路口辦理會勘。

暖暖交流道路口，匯集國道和62快速道路和瑞八公路車流，平時往來車流量大，也由於路型的關係，從交流道下平面道路的車速往往過快，路口雖有多個號誌、標線警示，因連動性不夠，致使此路段交通事故頻繁。連恩典表示，不少貨櫃車司機都向他反映，暖暖交流道下平面道路時，如果緊急煞車容易翻車，因此在變換號誌時根本就不煞車。林明智、陳江山和連恩典等人都建議增設測速照相器、水源路口延長全紅時間，改善標誌標線、號誌連動，讓路口更安全。昨會勘後各單位達成共識，建議在此路段增設雷達測速照相，改善行車標線、並增加路面慢行標誌；至於紅綠燈號誌部分，將由基隆市政府交旅處統籌改善，提升用路人行車安全。，
