日立連續6年贊助國際自由車環台賽。

日立冷氣榮獲「天下企業公民獎」外商組榜首，台灣日立社長橫山英範（右）接受金管會主委曾銘宗（左）頒獎。

長期致力於實踐企業承諾、社會參與及環境保護，台灣日立連續4年獲得天下企業公民獎肯定，不僅排名年年提昇，今年更脫穎而出，躍登外商組榜首，台灣日立社長橫山英範親自代表出席領獎。台灣日立表示，50年來以「誠」傳承，不僅提供消費者高品質產品和完善服務，更秉持「取之台灣、用之台灣」的回饋精神，緊緊扣住與台灣這塊土地共生共榮。

日立不只做好冷氣，更深耕空調教育，為產業注入新血，每年提供全國15所空調相關等科系，180名以上學子獎助學金，並與大學冷凍空調系建教合作，安排學生至工廠實地受訓實習，達成產學雙贏，獲頒輪調式建教合作優良單位，並贊助南港高工學生，前往巴西參加國際技能競賽，榮獲金牌獎。日立冷氣更為了台灣「智慧空調」自主發展，斥資總值近億元經費、設備與場地，與台北科技大學合作籌設「智慧空調研發與體驗中心」，推動新世代智慧空調的運用與發展。日立連續7年舉辦日立慈善盃女子高爾夫菁英賽，捐助九大公益團體，活動贊助及捐款金額已超過1億7000萬元。更將關懷延伸至原住民學生生活助學金、贊助啟智學校、關懷育幼院，照顧銀髮族。當國內外發生重大災難如八八水災、日本311地震、高雄氣爆等，亦發起全公司急難捐助，為受災者帶來更多關懷。為鼓勵員工主動參與慈善公益活動，實施「有薪志工假」，並成立愛心志工社，獲得員工踴躍響應，連續6年舉行大型千人環保淨灘、植樹活動；長期關注國際文化與體育盛事，連年贊助在台舉辦的大型國際運動賽事，如國際自由車環台賽、Challenge Taiwan鐵人三項、中華臺北羽球公開賽，提高台灣國際能見度。(中國時報)，
