Q彈的葡萄！永靖鄉葡萄產地集中在舊濁水溪流域，拜黑色黏質性土壤之賜，果粉均勻，甜度高，最大特色更在於果實很有彈性，農會總幹事林秀惠說，永靖鄉推廣葡萄栽種的起步晚，品質卻已經後來居上（見圖，鐘武達攝）。最近是葡萄盛產期，永靖葡萄大豐收，農會昨天舉辦促銷活動，邀請到台中農改場副場長高德錚、鄉長詹木根、縣府農業處副處長郭至善等專業人士，為永靖葡萄的品質掛保證。
