台北市長柯文哲昨天參加「移市宜家慶中秋」活動，與新移民用美食話家常，聆聽新移民在台北生活的需求和困境。針對新移民反映年幼子女需要照顧，台北市社會局表示，11月將試辦新移民保母訓練班，培養新移民照顧孩童的技能。柯文哲指出，台北市的新移民將近有5萬人，人數為全國第3高，因此特別交由民政、社會、衛生、教育、勞動等局處共同舉辦座談會，現場回應新移民在台生活的問題和需求。

台北市長柯文哲昨天參加「移市宜家慶中秋」活動，與新移民用美食話家常，聆聽新移民在台北生活的需求和困境。針對新移民反映年幼子女需要照顧，台北市社會局表示，11月將試辦新移民保母訓練班，培養新移民照顧孩童的技能。柯文哲指出，台北市的新移民將近有5萬人，人數為全國第3高，因此特別交由民政、社會、衛生、教育、勞動等局處共同舉辦座談會，現場回應新移民在台生活的問題和需求。

會中不少新移民提到，因家鄉親人來台能夠停留的時間不長，無法長期幫忙照顧孩子，擔心自己的能力不足以顧好孩子，希望政府提供協助。對此，社會局長許立民說，11月將開設2班免費保母課程，共計100位名額，居住在北市的新移民，或已取得本國籍的新移民，皆符合參訓條件。許立民指出，希望藉由總時數126小時的專業課程訓練，解決新移民的托育需求，同時也增加其工作技能。另外，也有新移民反映來台後，在識字、注音上遭遇困難，民政局表示，可參加成人教育班或是夜間輔導課程，幫助學習；也會推廣新移民的母語教育，打造多元包容的友善城市。民政局說，6月已成立跨局處的關懷新移民工作小組，每3個月召開一次會議，討論鼓勵新移民發聲的機制。(中國時報)，
