續辦5屆的雙城論壇，歷經北市府改朝換代後，如今依舊能在風雨中平穩前行。因此，無論柯此行將為雙城帶來哪些成果，色彩「墨綠」的首都市長破冰登陸，揭櫫的歷史意義，將遠超過實質。從不避諱政治色彩的柯文哲，曾在獨派場合，公開撕毀中華民國身分證。儘管事後他說是道具，但光這動作，就足讓他在統獨光譜中，被歸類「親獨」那一方。

然而，為何這樣的政治人物，能在短時間內，取得中方一定程度信任，同意「開綠燈」，促成雙城論壇？或許原因難一語道盡，但最關鍵的「通關密碼」，就在柯確實讓人看見他面對兩岸抱持的「務實態度」。舉例來說，柯敲定以政壇罕見的「陸媒專訪」模式，拋出「一個中國不是問題」談話，手段靈活，不僅取得對岸肯定，更開啟官方磋商管道。直至近期，面對中方期待「更多善意」，儘管北市府一度反彈，但柯繼續透過陸媒專訪，不著痕跡暗示「兩岸事務非國際事務」，巧妙且精準回應北京對「九二共識」的堅持與底限，終讓他打通任督二脈。或許在當前台灣社會氛圍中，柯大可操作反中情節，將雙城論壇破局責任推給對岸，藉此塑造「抗中英雄」角色，大賺政治紅利。問題是，兩岸交流早不可逆，誰也無法否定和平發展對兩地民眾的正面價值。因此，柯願面對現況，折衝歧異，讓論壇順利續辦，在泛綠陣營中已屬重大突破。即便論壇尚未召開，歷史意義已可見。2016總統大選將屆，當「墨綠柯P」能以善意面對大陸時，對民進黨或蔡英文都是挑戰。蔡英文如何在對內有所交待之餘，又能對外突破大陸政策這塊「軟肋」，外界拭目以待。(中國時報)，
